HTMondrianL gallery

Piet Mondrian was a 20th century artist with amazing symmetry and neurotic balance. His work is often refered to as non-representational, but that does not mean that it does not reflect recognizable aspects of the everyday environment. If you take the time to patiently observe his work, you will see street corners, night lights, and the tenacious grip of life in his starch-like paintings.

This gallery features mondrian art that is emulated using html tables and cascading style sheets. If perchance your browser is having trouble viewing the artwork correctly, then I suggest using a browser like Mozilla Firefox or Opera.

I was inspired to create this gallery after having visited the world's smallest art gallery. It is a previous submission to MIT's 5k competetion, in which any web site can enter so long as it is no larger than 5kb.

There are currently 007 art pieces in the gallery.
